An email forwarder is an email address that takes incoming email and forwards it to another address. It doesn’t actually store any email at all, it just acts as a relay or signpost, directing any email to the address of your choice.
For example, for Deluxe Web, we may have an email address called firstname.lastname@example.org that we want to direct to a particular individual. We might set that email forwarding adddress to go to email@example.com.
An email forwarder can forward to one address or many, making it very useful if you have a team that all need to receive email sent to one address.
